About Sagittarii
Welcome to Sagittarii Archery Club, where every archer can reach their full potential.
Established in 2012 by a group of like-minded friends, Sagittarii is the perfect environment for both competitive and recreational archers. Our ethos revolves around the collective sharing of knowledge and ideas, fostering a community where discussions over a cup of tea are as valued as time spent on the range.
We embrace the belief that archery is a sport for everyone. Whether you’re simply shooting for enjoyment or aiming for that next competition win, all are embraced within our community. Our membership spans the entire archery spectrum, from seasoned international competitors to those who shoot purely for pleasure.
Individual progress is paramount, and members are encouraged to pursue their archery journey at their own pace. Expert coaches and experienced archers are always available for guidance and support, ensuring every member has the resources they need to thrive.
We take pride in our members’ achievements, with representation on the Dorset & Wiltshire County team, as well as members who have competed at both national and international level in both recurve and compound disciples.
In 2021, Sagittarii achieved charitable status as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), solidifying our commitment to promoting community engagement and healthy recreation through archery in Dorset and beyond.
